How do I apply for a TEC Retreat?

Easy--just complete a TEC application. You can get an application in one of two ways:

1. Send e-mail to Mark Foster at mark.tec.atlanta@gmail.com.  Be sure to include your name, address and phone number.
2. Print or download and complete the online application below and either email it or mail it.

Dear TEC Applicant:

This application contains all of the information you will need to join thousands of other young adults who make up the international TEC community! The application is available in two different formats: .pdf and HTML.

1. Adobe Acrobat .pdf Form (~413 KB) to be downloaded or Adobe Acrobat .pdf Form to be completed online and Adobe Acrobat .pdf Friend Referral Form to be completed by someone who knows you and they can submit this online also.  Please note, users of Safari and Firefox may have trouble with the online application.  If you have trouble with the online application, then please download the .pdf form to apply.

2. HTML Format (below). Use this if you cannot print the application above in Adobe Acrobat .pdf format:

Part 1 - General Info about the times, dates, cost, stuff to bring, etc.  You keep this part!

Part 2 - The Application to fill out and return with your $75 non-refundable reservation fee (*fee is increased to $95 after October 24, 2008).  Space is limited so send it in at least three weeks before the weekend to hold your space!

Part 3 - The Referral Form is to be given to an adult that you know well to fill out so that we can get to know you a little and form small groups before you arrive.

When is the TEC weekend?: NOVEMBER 14-16, 2008

When does it begin?:   SIGN IN  is Friday from 10:30 - 11:00AM  

It is very important that you arrive at this time. 

When does it end?:    Sunday approximately 5 PM

It is required for participants to arrive on time and to remain onsite for the duration of the retreat.

Directions will be mailed to you prior to the retreat

What should I bring?:
Comfortable casual clothes
Nicer clothes for liturgy (1 night)
Towel & personal toiletries
Sleeping bag or blankets & pillow

How much does it cost?:       $75* until October 24, 2008
 *After October 24, 2008, the retreat fee increasing to $95

Who can make a TEC?: Young Adults 20-40, married or single.

TEC is an experience in Christian living designed especially for YOUNG ADULTS that includes:

*meeting other young adults from the Archdiocese
*reflecting & sharing your hopes, ideals, & dreams
*presentations by priests, sisters & young adults
*finding God & encountering Christ - risen and alive today!

Deadline for application: OCTOBER 24, 2008
*Retreat fee increases after October 24, 2008, if spots are available.
