The Atlanta TEC Community would like to
recognize Mary Ellen Cenzalli with a 2004 Spirit of TEC Award because:
Since coming on to the Advisory Council in
2001, Mary Ellen has been a shot in the arm for Atlanta TEC. She brings
with her an extensive background in non-profit work and fundraising, and she
has challenged the council to create organizational structures whereby
decisions can be made that are both professional and ministerial. Her many
hours of administrative service to the community are often not seen by its
members, but they are felt when the burdens we carry are lightened by her
thoughtfulness and anticipation of need.
Mary Ellen recognizes her gifts and abilities,
and she uses them to promote TEC and serve Christ through her hospitality
and generosity. She has said “Yes” time and again, and when called to
serve, she does so cheerfully, even in the midst of personal struggles.
Mary Ellen’s abiding faith and reliance on Christ shows us how the Paschal
Mystery can be lived every day.
For her service, dedication, faith and
enthusiasm for Christ, Atlanta TEC is pleased to recognize Mary Ellen
Cenzalli with this 2004 Spirit of TEC award.
