Wheat is the Embodiment of and symbol for the TEC Experience.  A key essential ingredient to every TEC weekend are those team members who willingly sign up as Wheat Team and give completely of themselves to do whatever is asked of them so that they participants may truly feel the love and  embrace of a vibrant and loving Christian community.  Atlanta TEC is fortunate to have extraordinary Wheat Teams, as these teams truly bless the weekend and enrich the experience of each participant. 

One individual has been consistent reflection of the wheat team for over half dozen or so TECs by being behind the scenes as part of the kitchen crew.  From mopping floors and peeling potatoes, to cleaning pots, pans and dishes, he has been there – often very quiet, but always with an eager and willing attitude to just do what was asked in a very caring and holy way.

The Atlanta TEC Community is very grateful for the servants heart of Fabian Castro and we wish to acknowledge all of his Wheat with the Spirit of Tec Award.
