The mission of
Atlanta TEC is to provide retreat opportunities TO ENCOUNTER CHRIST which enable
young adults to experience the Paschal Mystery in the sacraments and in the
community, thus sending forth disciples empowered to enlighten and ignite the
world for the building up of the Kingdom of God.Q: What is the age range for participating in a TEC Retreat?
A: 20-40 years of age.
Q: Do you have to be Catholic to participate?
A: No.
Q: What if I cannot afford the fee for TEC?
A: Please do not let the fee keep you from participating in a TEC
Retreat. Contact us about getting help with a Scholarship.
Q: How long is the weekend?
A: The TEC Weekend begins at 10:30am on a Friday morning and ends
between 4-5pm on the following Sunday.
Q: What if I need to arrive late or leave early?
A: Unfortunately, it is a requirement for participants to be on time and
to remain onsite for the duration of the weekend.

Q: Is the Atlanta TEC Movement linked to the Archdiocese of Atlanta?
A: YES! Not only does the Archbishop of Atlanta endorse TEC, he is a
TECer himself! In addition, TEC is financially supported by the
Archdiocese of Atlanta through the Office of Religious
Education and Young Adult Ministry. This allows us to do many things,
especially in having the ability to offer scholarships in times of need.
Q: If I have made a TEC retreat as a Teen, can I participate as a
Young Adult as well?
A: Yes. You can participate as a young adult, or because you are already
a part of our TEC family, you can join in one of the behind the scenes
teams.
