The mission of
Atlanta TEC is to provide retreat opportunities TO ENCOUNTER CHRIST which enable
young adults to experience the Paschal Mystery in the sacraments and in the
community, thus sending forth disciples empowered to enlighten and ignite the
world for the building up of the Kingdom of God.
Unless a grain of wheat falls to the earth and dies, it
remains just a grain of wheat;
but if it dies, it produces much fruit.
-John 12:24

A TEC Weekend is an
opportunity for young adults to explore their relationship with God. We live
such hectic and harried lives that we become too busy for God and too busy to
reengage with the vital questions on our hearts. Too many Catholics know about
Jesus but they don't know Jesus in an intimate and vibrant way. The weekend is
an open invitation for you to encounter the Risen Christ.
Check out when the dates are for the next TEC
retreats.
TEC is a national Catholic retreat movement
that began in 1965 in Lansing, Michigan and has been growing ever since. The
retreat is an experience in Christian living based on the
Paschal Mystery of
Christ designed specifically for Young Adults. The weekend is three
days-consists of a series of talks, small group discussions, prayer, great food,
wonderful contemporary Christian music, and dynamic liturgies all put on by a
team of approximately forty mostly young adults who have prepared and prayed for
months in anticipation of hosting the weekend.
